One of the most commonly asked questions that we get from new customers about uniforms is: How many should I buy? This is a hard question to answer in a general, "one size fits all" way. It depends on the amount of laundry willing to be done, the budget, and the preferences of the family. However, below are some general guidelines we like to recommend for individuals looking to buy their uniforms.
For most people, 3 skirts or shorts is a good number for them. This means that the student can wear skirts 1 and 2 the first days of the week and while those are being washed can wear the third one. This generally works well for most families. However, other families (especially those where there is no "stay at home" parent) prefer to buy 5 skirts or shorts, one for each day of the week with a large wash day during the weekend.
For Shirts & Blouses:
Most families go with either the same amount of shirts/blouses as shirts that they bought, though some prefer more shirts over bottoms. Once again, it all depends on your preferences.
Generally, 2 or 3 sweatshirts or sweaters are nice for the colder months. This one is purely personal preference, because not everyone gets cold as easily as others.
As always, feel free to stop in or give us a call and we'll be able to further advise you with your specific circumstances.
